Born in Istanbul, Özgür Hazar is a blues/rock guitarist and singer-songwriter who lived in the U.S. from 2006 to 2008 in Philadelphia where he played in various bands and got to know the many facets of the blues.

He then returned to Istanbul where he performed in numerous clubs with his own band before settling in Belgium in 2018.

His debut album "Sad and Blue" was released in 2020 on the BRR (Broadcasting Radio Recordings) label and impressed the press. Musically, Özgür Hazar is influenced by musicians such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, BB King, Danny Bryant, Walter Trout and others.

In his stage program he combines styles of New Orleans, Uptempo, Texas Blues, Slow Blues with his own compositions. He is rock-solidly accompanied by his band "Blues Syndicate", a top-class quartet of long-time bluesmen.

ÖZGUR HAZAR'S BLUES SYNDICATE  is a name to remember!
